This contract outlines the Fiscal Year 2012 orders to be placed under a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) with Science Applications International Corp (SAIC), identified by N00104-08-G-RS30. SAIC, the Original Equipment Manufacturer and the sole source with full repair capabilities, operates from its repair facility in San Diego, CA, while the corporate entity is based in McLean, VA. The agreement covers repairs for 14 National Stock Numbers (NSNs) involving mission-critical items for which complete technical data and drawings are not available from the Government. Consequently, full and open competition is not viable, and only Government-approved sources, specifically SAIC, are eligible to perform repairs. Key high-value items include flow rate meters, RS detectors, and power supplies. The contract emphasizes that government source approval is mandatory before any award due to the specialized nature of these repairs and the insufficiency of publicly available technical data. The time needed to approve alternative sources is generally prohibitive, ensuring SAIC remains the exclusive provider. For further details or inquiries, contact information is provided. The Department of Defense’s Navsup Weapon Systems Support office in Mechanicsburg, PA, manages this procurement, which falls under NAICS code 334519, covering various repair and maintenance services related to electronic and mechanical systems.
