The delivery terms are FOB Origin, with the items to be issued to Ultra Electronics Ocean Systems located in Braintree, Massachusetts. The solicitation, numbered N0010411PDF86 and posted on June 20, 2011, falls under the Department of Defense’s Navsup Weapon Systems Support Mechanical office based in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. This presolicitation notice does not specify any set-aside requirements or NAICS codes and is intended to support the maintenance or upgrade of the buoy system. All procedural discretion regarding competition is reserved by the Government, and additional notes referenced in the contract indicate there may be further details or stipulations related to this procurement. The contract emphasizes the strategic importance of the existing supplier due to proprietary or technical data constraints.
