The contract involves the procurement of 21 units of a circuit card assembly (NSN 7H-5998-014952359-CH, TDP VER 006) for delivery to Leidos in Chesapeake, Virginia. The induction NIIN is specified as 7H 5998 014952359 CH, and the contract is issued to U S Technologies Inc. in Fairlawn, New Jersey. This action is a sole-source intent, meaning the government plans to negotiate exclusively with one vendor due to the proprietary nature of the data required for the supplies and repair services. The government does not hold data rights to the required parts and has found it uneconomical to purchase the rights or reverse engineer the part, limiting options for competition. Although this notice is not a request for competitive quotes, interested parties may express interest or submit quotes prior to award for consideration, but the final decision to compete remains at the government’s discretion. Interested vendors can access relevant Military and Federal Specifications, Qualified Product Lists, and other standardized documents through the Department of Defense Single Stock Point (DODSSP) system or ASSIST-Online. However, critical documents such as patterns, drawings, and deviation lists are not stocked there. Award will be contingent on meeting qualification requirements per FAR clause 52.209-1. The solicitation does not utilize FAR Part 12 policies for commercial item acquisitions, but vendors may submit capabilities for commercial items within 15 days. The contracting office responsible is the NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support located in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania.
