The contract involves the procurement of 21 units of a circuit card assembly, specifically for repair or modification purposes, identified under NSN 7H-5998-015289266-GL, TDP version 001. Delivery terms are FOB origin, and the items are to be issued to Lockheed Martin Corporation located in Orlando, Florida. This action is a notice of intent rather than a solicitation for competitive bids, as the government plans to negotiate solely with Lockheed Martin due to a lack of adequate data rights necessary to source the part from multiple suppliers. The Department of Defense, through the Navsup Weapon Systems Support office in Mechanicsburg, PA, is overseeing this procurement. Although this notice allows interested parties to express their interest or submit quotes before the award date, the government retains full discretion on whether to pursue competitive procurement. The information provided by respondents will primarily be used to determine if a competitive process is feasible, given the specialized nature of the supply and associated data limitations.
