The contract involves the procurement of two units of a circuit card assembly, identified by NSN 7H-5998-015424872, under a technical data package version 001. The delivery terms specify FOB origin with the items to be issued to Argon ST Inc. located in Newington, Virginia. This action is a notice of intent rather than a request for competitive quotes, as the government plans to negotiate exclusively with a single source. However, interested parties may still express their interest and capability or submit quotes prior to the award date. The government retains sole discretion on whether to pursue competitive bidding based on the responses received. The procurement is managed by the Naval Supply Systems Command Weapon Systems Support Mechanical office, part of the Department of Defense, stationed in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. The government cites a lack of adequate or necessary rights to data to enable purchasing the item from multiple sources. This contract relates to the repair or modification of the specified circuit card assembly, and further details or clarifications appear to be addressed in corresponding notes. The notice emphasizes the government's intent to determine if a competitive procurement is warranted but currently anticipates sole-source negotiation.
