The contract involves the procurement of six units of a circuit card assembly identified by NSN 7G-5998-LLH688899, with the technical data package version 001. Delivery terms are FOB origin to DRS Advanced ISR LLC in Beavercreek, Ohio. This action is designated for negotiation with a single source due to the unstable design of the part, which has not met required engineering, manufacturing, or performance objectives. Major design changes are anticipated because the current part experiences low process yield and marginal performance, rendering existing versions obsolete and unusable in their current form. Consequently, limited acquisition or repair from the current source will continue pending these configuration updates. Although this notice is not a formal solicitation for competitive quotes, the government encourages all interested and capable sources to express their interest or submit quotations within a specified window before contract award. The decision to forego competition rests solely with the government and is based on the responses received. Applicable trade agreements, including the Buy American Act and World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement, may govern this acquisition. Interested parties can access relevant military and federal specifications from the Department of Defense Single Stock Point and through online resources such as ASSIST-Online. The contracting activity is the Naval Supply Systems Command Weapon Systems Support Mechanic in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania.
