Full Description

On behalf of the Department of Justice (DOJ), it is the intent of the IRS to issue a national contract for Telecommunications Site Maintenance services and to seek a single contractor to lead the program as a prime. The following amendment was made to respond to additional questions received by potential sources based on the initial sources sought announcement: Question 1: Are you able to provide a more detailed break-down of the site locations in addition to the regional map? Response: At this time, we are not able to provide a detailed break-down of site locations. Please keep in mind that JPO is planning on concentrating on the Western region at the initial stage of the project. The Western area currently has 6 sites in Southern California and 6 Sites in Washington State. As the project moves along, additional sites will be added. Question 2: With respect to the annual site inspections, you note the possible site count is 120 - are we to assume this number would serve as the approximate number of annual inspections required? Response: At this time, an assumption of 120 sites for annual site inspections seems appropriate. However, keep in mind that at the initial stage, the 12 sites in the Western region is our main concentration at this point. All other site inspection will be added with further notice. Questions regarding the subject amendment shall be submitted, in writing, no later than 10:00 AM, EST, January 16, 2008 to lynette.b.fadiya@irs.gov and be clearly labeled "Questions Regarding Amendment". The submission date for the Capabilties Statement package still remains January 17, 2008 and must be delivered by 2:00pm EST.
