Full Description

This procurement will be a Part 12 acquisition for commercial supplies and services using the test procedures in FAR Subpart 13.5 therefore simplified acquisition procedures will be utilized. The resulting contract will be awarded at a Firm Fixed Price. The requirement is for a technology refresh for the Public Affairs Office (N00P) of Military Sealift Command Headquarters, which currently uses G3 computers (OS 9.2.2) on a network. This is to include replacing Apple workstations and servers with new systems; providing software; providing training; and providing maintenance as set forth herein. The maintenance is anticipated to be for a base year with four one-year options. Delivery and installation of the hardware and software is anticipated to have a completion date of 29 March 2004. RFQ posting date is expected by close of business 13 February 2004. The RFQ will be posted to the NECO website at http://www.neco.navy.mil as well as the MSC web page at http://www.msc.navy.mil. All questions and/or requests for information pertaining to this acquisition must be submitted in writing, preferably electronically, to: Code N1022, Kristine Boyles, Contracting Officer, +1 (555) 000-0000, contact@example.gov. No verbal communication will be entertained. The NAICS code is 443120 with a size standard of $7.5M as products will be procured in combination with repair and support services.
