This is a pre-solicitation notice. NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Puget Sound will be soliciting for lube oil system flush services performed on the MPDE onboard a forward deployed vessel in support of U.S. Naval Ship Repair Facility and Japan Regional Maintenance Center (SRF-JRMC) Detachment Sasebo, Japan. The period of performance is approximately 03 Sep 2016~17 November 2016 to include an eight to 10-week lead time for shipping of the flushing equipment by sea. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be posted to the GPE on or about 08 August 2016 with proposals due by 30 August 2016. This firm-fixed-price service type contract will be awarded in accordance with FAR Part 12 and FAR Subpart 13.5, utilizing Low Price Technically Acceptable evaluation procedures. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by FLC Puget Sound.
