J--Notice of Intent to Sole Source, Microwave Radio Upgrade, NPS-CRLA

The National Park Service, Crater Lake National Park, intends to issue a Sole Source award to United Telephone Company of the Northwest doing business as CenturyLink, Portland, OR, for upgraded radio telephone and internet service to Crater Lake National Park, the park concessionaire, park housing units, and other park partners. The project will include upgrades to existing CenturyLink microwave radio equipment (and associated equipment) at locations both inside and outside of Crater Lake National Park, ensuring that the replacement equipment will integrate with other telephone and network infrastructure already in use at Crater Lake National Park. The National Park Service intends to procure this service from one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The procurement will utilize contracting by negotiation procedures and will be classified under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 811213 with a Small Business Size Standard of $11 million. This is a Sole Source Notice and not a request for proposals. No solicitation document is available with this notice.
