This contract involves the procurement of six units of a specific power supply component, identified by NSN 7H-6130-015540799 and governed under TDP VER 005, with delivery terms set as FOB origin. The supplier designated to fulfill this order is Behlman Electronics Corporation, located in Hauppauge, New York. The acquisition is non-competitive, as the Government intends to negotiate exclusively with this single source due to the lack of available technical data, government data rights, or manufacturing knowledge that would allow sourcing from alternatives. The part must be procured from a manufacturing source specified by source control or selected item drawings under DoD-STD-100, and qualification testing or use of a second source is not feasible economically or technically. The procurement authority is granted under FAR 6.302-1, permitting sole-source negotiation, though interested parties may submit their interest or quotes within specified time frames for consideration. The award depends on the offeror and product meeting qualification requirements at the time of award, as outlined in FAR clause 52.209-1. The contract is managed by the Naval Supply Systems Command Weapon Systems Support office located in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. This announcement is a notice of intent rather than a direct request for competitive proposals, aiming to determine whether a competitive procurement process might be warranted based on responses.
