The intended awardee is Sechan Electronics Inc., located in Lititz, Pennsylvania. This action is being conducted under a sole source negotiation as authorized by FAR 6.302-1, meaning the government plans to negotiate directly with one supplier due to the unique nature of the item and the uneconomical nature of acquiring data rights or reverse engineering the product. Interested parties may express interest or submit proposals within specified timeframes, but the government retains sole discretion on whether to pursue a competitive process. Evaluation will ensure that the offeror, product, or manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award as defined by FAR clause 52.209-1. The procurement is managed by the Department of Defense's Navsup Weapon Systems Support office in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. While this notice does not constitute a request for competitive proposals, all submissions received within 45 days (or 30 days under an existing Basic Ordering Agreement) after publication will be considered.
