The contract involves the acquisition of 11 units of a specific current sensor (NSN 7H-6625-014935904) in accordance with technical data package version 002 and referenced requirements. The supplier designated for this purchase is Woodward Inc., located in Fort Collins, Colorado, with delivery terms FOB Origin. Interested parties may express their interest or capability within specified timeframes, although the government retains full discretion to proceed without competition. Supporting procedures include access to applicable military and federal specifications and standards through the DoD Single Stock Point or ASSIST-Online, but proprietary documents such as patterns and drawings are not stocked there. This procurement falls outside the commercial item acquisition policies of FAR Part 12, although commercial item capabilities may be submitted within 15 days of the notice. The contracting office responsible is the Navsup Weapon Systems Support Mech under the Department of Defense, based in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, and the solicitation is listed as a presolicitation with no set-aside designation.
