NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Department of Interior, Farmington District Office intends to award a sole source purchase order (PO) to Forest Technology Systems, LTD under the authority of 41 U.S.C 253(c)(1) and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 - Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirement. The National American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 334513 - Instruments and Related Manufacturing for Measuring, Displaying, and Controlling Industrial Process Variables. Annual Maintenance Agreement with Forest Technology Systems for existing Weather Stations (portable) used by Farmington District Fire Program to consist of providing parts and maintenance to comply with National Wildfire Coordinating Group (NWCG) Sensor and Data requirements as outlined in the most current Wildland Fire Weather Station Standards and Guidelines. This action will result in a Firm Fixed Price PO with a period of performance that shall not exceed 5 years. The Notice of Intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive proposals. BLM has only one know source for this procurement that is in the Government best interest. All questions must be submitted by April 17, 2020 4:30 PM MT and no questions shall be accepted after this time. Interested parties must express their interest and shall submit their capability statement and any other information considered pertinent to the Contracting Officer no later than April 22, 2020, 4:30 PM MT. Please respond to Eleanor Tippeconnie, via email only to etippeco@blm.gov The determination not to compete this requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received from interested parties will be considered for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
