The Southwest Regional Maintenance Center (SWRMC) plans to issue an order under one of two existing basic ordering agreements—N00024-10-G-4304 with Electric Boat Corporation or N00024-10-G-4305 with Huntington Ingalls Incorporated—for engineering, material, and technical services to support onboard repair of the High Pressure Air System Reducing Manifold on the USS ASHEVILLE (SSN-758). The estimated performance period for this work is from March 8 through March 18, 2013. This procurement will be conducted under authority granted by 10 USC 2304(c)(1) and will utilize Justification and Approval (J&A) numbers 40,744 and 40,788. This notice represents intent rather than a solicitation, indicating that the Government will seek these supplies or services from one of the two designated contractors under the applicable basic ordering agreements. Subcontracting interest should be directed to the prime contractors, Electric Boat Corporation or Huntington Ingalls Incorporated, at their respective locations in Groton, Connecticut, and Newport News, Virginia.
