The contract action is managed by the Naval Supply Systems Command Weapon Systems Support Mechanical office in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. While competitive proposals are not solicited initially, submissions received within 45 days (or 30 days if under an existing Basic Ordering Agreement) will be considered to determine the potential for a competitive procurement. Interested parties can obtain specifications and standardized documents via the DoD Single Stock Point and ASSIST platforms, with assistance available through the DLA Document Services help desk. This acquisition relates specifically to valve repair and modification services and highlights the Government’s intent to engage a single source while maintaining transparency and opportunity for potential responders to demonstrate interest and capability.
