Full Description
NCO 8 anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed Priced purchase order with a 5-year period of performance. The statutory authority for applying Simplified Acquisition Procedures is 41 U.S.C. § 1901 and is implemented by RFO 12.102(b) for Restricting Competition using Simplified Acquisition Procedures for Commercial Products and Services. The applicable NAICS Code is 811210 Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair & Maintenance, with a small business size standard of $34,000,000.00.
This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation documents are available, and telephone requests will not be honored. However, if a firm believes it can meet the requirements it must furnish information about its products and services, as well as references from other customers who are using products and services to provide system coverage for Luxor, nGenuity, and Constellation LXT healthcare equipment, to the Contracting Officer within seven (7) calendar days from the date of publication of this synopsis.
Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirement, show experience providing system coverage for Luxor, nGenuity, and Constellation LXT healthcare equipment. Information must be sent to the Kurt Kramer, Contracting Officer at Kurt.Kramer@va.gov.
Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
If no responses are received, NCO 8 will proceed with the sole source negotiation with Alcon Vision, LLC.
