The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 6, intends to award a sole source, firm fixed price contract to Stryker Sales, LLC for annual preventative maintenance and service support on Government-owned Stryker Neptune medical systems located at the Fayetteville VA Medical Center in North Carolina and the Wilmington Health Care Center in North Carolina. Market research has established that these services can only be provided by the original equipment manufacturer’s authorized agent, Stryker Sales, LLC, without risking unacceptable cost duplication or disruption to patient care, justifying the non-competitive award. All responses to this notice must be submitted via email to Cherisse.Hall@va.gov by 12:00 PM EDT on June 26, 2026, and must include the company name, address, point of contact, phone number, SAM Unique Entity ID, a detailed capabilities statement, and documented past performance. Respondents must demonstrate proof of being an OEM-authorized service provider for Stryker Neptune systems. The contract falls under NAICS code 811210 for electronic and precision equipment repair and maintenance, with a Product Service Code of J065 for medical equipment maintenance. Inspection and acceptance of service will occur at the installation sites in Fayetteville and Wilmington, North Carolina, with the government retaining authority to approve or reject performance based on compliance with manufacturer standards and contract requirements. No competitive evaluation process will be conducted, as the acquisition is designated sole source, and no solicitation documents, formal evaluation factors, contract value, or invoicing methods are specified beyond the requirement for OEM authorization and complete vendor responsiveness. The contracting office, located in Hampton, Virginia, will review all submissions at its sole discretion, and any determination not to open competition remains within its discretion.
