The Department of National Defence, Director General Aerospace Equipment Program Management, has a requirement for airworthy, cost-effective, and performance-based, support for the General Electric J85-CAN-40 Propulsion Group systems of the Royal Canadian Air Force CT114 Tutor fleet. This is a long-term requirement to the End of Life of the aircraft fleet.
The intent of this Letter of Interest (LOI) is to solicit market information, including availability and delivery schedule, as well as to determine industry interest in responding to a potential Request for Proposal (RFP). The DRAFT RFP and related documents are attached. Respondents are to send questions/comments/recommended changes via email to the Contracting Authority only.
This is a phased procurement:
Phase 1: LOI including DRAFT RFP
Phase 2: Virtual 1-one-1 virtual Industry Days (estimated for mid-October 2022 and will be posted to canadabuys.canada.ca/en as a separate LOI)
Phase 3: FINAL RFP Release (estimated for November 2022) Delivery Date: Above-mentioned
The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
