A Sources Sought Notice is a market research tool being used to determine availability and adequacy of potential small business sources prior to determining the method of acquisition leading toward a firm-fixed-price contract. The intent of this sources sought synopsis is to identify all capable businesses possessing the ability to purchase, install and integrate sixteen (16) access control systems, (16) multi-head cameras and one appliance (server) that will be installed within the 87th Communications Squadron Server Facility. The brand specified to reduce training and management processes for this project is Motorola/Avigilon as it is compatible with the camera system that is currently in use on the flightline and base access points. This is also the system used by the units within JBMDL through the 87th Security Forces Squadron. Motorola/Avigilon is also the system known within the 87th CS for the camera configuration and appliance as they require no additional configuration changes for network configuration. Motorola/Avigilon is also the only access control system that can connect and annunciate via the AMC LMR Core ATO. Each access control point (gate) will require remote access control hardware and a camera to monitor access activity. The contractor will be required to administer security checks and settings to the appliance (STIGs) to the management appliance, specified as an UA-APP-ENT-7. The contractor will install each location hardware up to the network switch and then STOP, not touching or accessing any network switch or government network component. The Government is seeking qualified business sources nationwide. The NAICS Code is 561621 (Security Systems Services, except locksmiths) with a $25 Million size standard. The performance period of the contract is anticipated to be 6 Months after award of contract. This notice does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ), nor does it restrict the 87th Contracting Squadron to an ultimate acquisition approach. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement. Any information submitted by respondents to this notice is strictly voluntary. A response to this Sources Sought Notice will not be considered an adequate response to any forthcoming solicitation announcement. There is no solicitation available at this time. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS: Interested business firms must submit a brief capabilities statement package (no more than 3 pages in length, 12-point font minimum) demonstrating capability to perform the requested services. This documentation shall address, as a minimum, the following: (1) Company Profile to include number of employees, office location(s), UEI number and/or Cage Code and statement identifying small business status. (2) Relevant experience within the last five years, including any contract number, and Government/Agency or firm point of contact (POC) and current telephone number for the POC. Also, identify if you were a subcontractor and the work you actually performed as the sub-contractor. The Government invites input from industry relative to how this type of service is performed in order to maximize the incorporation of commercial standards and practices where practicable. Recommendations for improving the Statement of Work (SOW) are welcomed.
