Work includes site preparation; earthwork and approximately 25,200 CY of embankment; installation of 5,900 SY of aggregate base and 5,800 SY of PCC pavement; 1,900 SF of pavement marking; and drainage improvements. This project also includes installation of approximately 1,100 LF of taxiway lighting, electrical duct banks, cabling, regulator, associated modifications, removal of existing lighting system, and approximately 3.0 acres of seeding and mulching. Bidders shall submit the following with their bid: Bid Bond: Bidders shall submit with their bid a bid bond issued by a surety company licensed to do business in the State of Kansas in the amount of five percent (5.0%) of the total amount of their bid. DBE Requirements: The Owner's award of this contract is conditioned upon Bidder satisfying the good faith effort requirements of the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT), 49 CFR 26.53.
