REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL: SPM4A6-09-R-0659, NSN 5995-01-521-3187, CABLE ASSEMBLY, SPECIAL PURPOSE. THIS ACQUISITION WILL BE ISSUED AS AN INDEFINITE QUANTITY CONTRACT (IQC) CONSISTING OF A BASE YEAR AND FOUR 1- YEAR OPTION PERIODS WILL BE SOLICITED ON AN UNRESTRICTED BASIS UTILZING OTHER THAN FULL & OPEN COMPETITION IN ACCORDANCE WITH 10 USC 2304(c)(1). THIS ITEM HAS BEEN IDENTIFIED AS A COMMERCIAL ITEM THE APPROVED SOURCES ARE ROCKWELL COLLINS CAGE 13499, P/N 987-5014-001 AND DCX-CHOL ENTERPRISES, CAGE 27456, P/N 987-5014-001. FOB DESTINATION WITH INSPECTION AND ACCEPTANCE AT ORIGIN APPLY. GOVERNMENT AND CONTRACTOR FIRST ARTICLE TESTING ARE REQUIRED. TWO SAMPLES ARE REQUIRED. DELIVERY OF THE FAT REPORT IS 90 DAYS, GOVERNMENT EVALUATION IS 30 DAYS AND THE DELIVERY OF THE PRODUCTION UNITS IS 104 DAYS. CONTRACT DATA REQUIREMENT LIST (CDRL) APPLIES. THE ESTIMATED ANNUAL DEMAND QTY IS 1,930 EACH FOR THE BASE AND FOUR OPTION YEARS. THE GUARANTEED MINIMUM QUANTITY IS 482 EACH FOR THE BASE YEAR ONLY. THE GURARANTEED MINIMUM QUANTITY IS 0 FOR OPTION PERIODS. THE MAXIMUM ANNUAL CONTACT QUANTITY IS 3,860 EACH FOR THE BASE AND OPTION YEARS. THE MINIMUM DELIVERY ORDER QTY IS 482 EACH AND MAXIMUM DELIVERY ORDER QTY IS 1,930 EACH. SURGE AND SUSTAINMENT REQUIREMENTS APPLY.
