The Naval Air Systems Command's Aircrew Systems Program Office seeks to expand the existing scope of contract N00019-10-C-0007, which was a sole-source agreement with Vision Systems International (VSI) for the procurement of Joint Helmet Cueing System (JHMCS) 40-degree Night Vision Cueing and Display (NVCD) hardware and related support equipment. This expansion involves adding several critical data-related tasks and analyses, including Failure Modes Determination and Analysis, Reliability Prediction Analysis, Economic Level of Repair Analysis, a manufacturing transition plan for the 126 Test Set Adapter Kit, a quality program plan, and a production assessment review. These efforts are integral to further supporting the JHMCS NVCD program and fall under NAICS code 334511 for night vision equipment. VSI, based in San Jose, CA, is uniquely qualified to perform this work due to their exclusive access to the necessary knowledge, data, equipment, and experience, enabling them to meet required deadlines. Although this notice invites all responsible sources to submit capability statements or proposals, it does not constitute a request for proposal or a procurement commitment. Interested parties seeking subcontract opportunities are encouraged to contact VSI directly. The contract modification will formalize the increased scope, continuing VSI's role in this critical defense technology initiative managed by the Naval Air Systems Command in Patuxent River, Maryland.
