The Government intends to issue a modification (single source award) to the York International (now Johnson Controls Navy Systems). long term contract SPM7MX-13-D-0008, to extend the contract period from November 14, 2017 through February 11, 2018. This action will be completed by issuance of a single source award through a contract modification. The contract award is for 269 NSNs that are commercial items for air conditioning system parts that are coded to Johnson Controls Navy Systems, cage code 66935. See attached excel spreadsheet. This action is being pursued to ensure continued coverage of cage and part numbered NSNs listed while the successor long term contract initiatives are being evaluated and subsequently awarded for Johnson Controls Navy Systems parts. The current long term contract is scheduled to expire on November 13, 2017. Information regarding the modification (single source award) can be obtained from the primary point of contact John Hutcheson (john.hutcheson@dla.mil). The listed parts will be procured as "all or none" per NSN. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Specifications, plans, or drawings are not available on these NSNs. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestrictive technical data; therefore the Government intends to solicit and contract with only the approved source under authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 ( 4 ) ( 1 ). Currently the only long term contracting arrangement is contract SPM7MX-13-D-0008 for all of these items coded to Johnson Controls Navy Systems, cage code 66935. All terms and conditions as indicated in the current contract will remain the same for the contract period from November 14, 2017 through February 11, 2018.
