Sealed bids for Bid Request No. 2026-027 for the Johnson County Developmental Supports (JCDS) Elmore Building Envelope Improvements Project shall be submitted electronically via IonWave at https://jocogov.ionwave.net until 2:00PM CT, August 13, 2026. A Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference and Site Visit will be held at 10:00AM CT on July 30, 2026, at the JCDS Elmore Building located at 10501 Lackman Road, Lenexa, Kansas 66219. Representation is required by General/Prime Contractors to be eligible to submit a bid. Please gather near the front entrance.
Technical questions and requests for clarification shall be submitted electronically via IonWave no later than 5:00PM CT on August 6, 2026, to allow adequate time to issue an addendum, if needed.
BID BOND: Bidders shall submit with their bid a bid bond issued by a surety company licensed to do business in the State of Kansas in the amount of five percent (5.0%) of the total amount of their bid. Said guarantee shall be made payable to the Public Building Commission of Johnson County, Kansas.
No bid may be withdrawn within a period of sixty (60) days from the date of the bid opening.
The County reserves the right to award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible Bidder for the Work covered by the Base Bid(s) and any approved alternate(s) and to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularities and informalities in any bid submitted.
No bidder shall in any way, directly or indirectly, discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment or any other person because of age, race, color, disability, sex, national origin or religious creed, or other circumstance prohibited by federal state or local law, rule or regulation.
