Sealed bids for Bid Request No. 2026-041 for the Johnson County Sunset Office Building Exterior Repairs Project shall be submitted electronically via IonWave at https://jocogov.ionwave.net until 2:00PM CT, August 11, 2026. At that time, all bids that have been duly received will be publicly opened and read aloud via Zoom Video Conferencing at:

A Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held at 11:00AM CT on July 28, 2026, at the Sunset Office Building located at 11811 S. Sunset Drive, Olathe, Kansas 66061. Representation is required by General/Prime Contractors to be eligible to submit a bid. Please gather at Sunset Office Building conference room 1010.
Technical questions and requests for clarification shall be submitted electronically via IonWave no later than 5:00PM CT on August 4, 2026, to allow adequate time to issue an addendum, if needed.
BID BOND: Bidders shall submit with their bid a bid bond issued by a surety company licensed to do business in the State of Kansas in the amount of five percent (5.0%) of the total amount of their bid. Said guarantee shall be made payable to the Public Building Commission of Johnson County, Kansas.
No bid may be withdrawn within a period of sixty (60) days from the date of the bid opening.
Owner reserves the right to award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible Bidder for the Work covered by the Base Bid(s) and any approved alternate(s) and to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularities and informalities in any bid submitted.
No bidder shall in any way, directly or indirectly, discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment or any other person because of age, race, color, disability, sex, national origin or religious creed, or other circumstance prohibited by federal state or local law, rule or regulation.
