Full Description

Joint Primary Aircraft Training Systems (JPATS) Aircrew Training Devices(ATD). The ATD fleet consists of Operational Flight Trainers (OFTs), Instrument Flight Trainers, and Unit Training Devices located at six U.S. Air Force (USAF) sites and three U.S. Navy (USN) sites. The effort consists of retrofitting all Electronic Control Loading Systems (ECLS) and Flight Deck Input/Output Systems (FDIOS) and upgrading all Windows XP and Windows 2000-based software to Windows 7 for 108 USAF and USN JPATS ATDs. Additionally, the effort includes upgrading Aural Cueing Systems for the USN OFTs and UTDs, and the Image Generator Systems for the USN OFTs.
