JPEO-CBRND Industry Day, Arkansas

09 MAY 2018 UPDATE (registration specific) Synopsis: The Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Defense (JPEO-CBRND), the State of Arkansas, City of White Hall and Pine Bluff Arsenal (PBA) will conduct a CBRND Industry Day event on 6-7 June 2018, at the White Hall Community Center, near the Main Entrance of the US Army Pine Bluff Arsenal, Arkansas. The purpose of the JPEO-CBRND Industry Day is to showcase Arkansas' outstanding military value, promote the Arsenal and the City of White Hall's role in support of JPEO-CBRND's readiness mission. All parties will come together to provide networking opportunities for both large and small businesses that are interested in partnering with PBA and establishing offices and/or manufacturing, maintenance, or storage operations near the Arsenal. Department of Defense presentations for this Industry Day event will provide information regarding the recent National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) Sec. 1067, establishment of a Chem-Bio Defense Logistics Hub, and recent ASA-ALT Policy regarding Make-Buy Analysis for Army Programs of Record. The State of Arkansas and the Local Community will provide an update of ongoing initiatives and present incentives to attract industry. There will be an opportunity for one-on-one sessions with Pine Bluff Arsenal, the State of Arkansas, and Local officials. This event will be Unclassified. This announcement should not be construed as a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a commitment by the US Government. The US Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this Industry Day. The Government will not be liable for payment of any expenses incurred as a result of attending this Industry Day. The event will take place over two (2) days and begin at 0830 Central Daylight Time on 6 June 2018. 6 June 2018 (Day 1): The general session will begin at 0830 Central Daylight Time with presentations from JPEO-CBRND executive and staff followed by PBA. The afternoon will consist of presentations from State and Local officials, question and answer sessions for the general audience, and one-on-one sessions with various representatives. 7 June 2018 (Day 2): Starting at 0800 Central Daylight Time, the second day of one-on-one sessions will begin along with Other Transaction Authority (OTA) Training for Industry, followed by limited tours of Pine Bluff Arsenal and the local industrial park.
