Full Description

The U.S. Army PM TRADE, Product Manager for Combat Training Instrumentation Systems (PdM CTIS) has a requirement to support an increase of the geographical operating area of the JRTC-IS. This sole source award will allow for coverage of the newly acquired 45,000 acre area commonly known as the JRTC Land Expansion. The Government intends to build upon the existing JRTC-IS RCS delivery order as the base for the expansion of data collection capabilities for the JRTC. The focus area for this Land Expansion will be comprised of: (1) Combat Trainer Data Subsystems of the RCS in support of the RCS tablets and Player Units, (2) Cellular Towers and Shelters, (3) Fiber Optic Network (FON) and (4) Voice Tactical Monitor (VTM) P25 Antennas and associated equipment. The JRTC-IS is an integrated system of computer software and hardware comprised of workstations, databases, voice and video recording, production, and presentation equipment that provides near-real combat learning experiences for the units undergoing training. The JRTC-IS supports the key elements of Exercise Planning, System Preparation, Exercise Management, Training Performance Feedback, and System Support.
