This annual database subscription renewal is for Global Positioning System (GPS) type UNS-1D Flight Management System that cannot be removed from the UH-60 Blackhawks without degrading mission capability. The subscription provides changes to information contained in the UNS-1D Flight Management System such as approaches to civilian airports in the European Command (EUCOM) Area of Responsibility (AoR), minimum descent altitude for instrument approaches, departure procedures, and en route navigation. Without the subscription, the UNS-1D Flight Management System will not meet the requirements of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), Army Regulation (AR) 95-1, and other associated aviation publications. The subscription is a digital aeronautical flight information file (DAFIF) download directly from www.uasc.com and loaded in the UNS- 1D Flight Management System installation in the 1-214th's UH-60 Blackhawks.
