Full Description

The island of Saipan was hit by Super Typhoon Sinlaku earlier this week April 13-15/16 2026. This may be the strongest typhoon to ever hit U.S. soil. The island has been decimated by this typhoon and will be economically and fiscally spread thin for months and years to come. This requirement will be to repair and replace any component of the Kagman watershed project that was damaged or destroyed by the super typhoon. These funds will also be used to pay for additional cost from EO delaying project trip cancellation and other cost from stoppage of work.
