KBA Parts

The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) is issuing this Sources Sought Notice in order to identify companies that are capable of manufacturing and delivering specified parts for various KBA Printing machines. Interested companies must be capable of providing all parts specified in the attached Statement of Work, with no deviation from the original equipment manufacturer's specifications. Please see the statement of work for more details. Interested vendors to submit their interest in writing to the Contract Specialist identified herein along with the following, but not limited to information: 1) reference to Sources Sought number; 2) company name, address, telephone number, and website address (if available); 3) the type of business (large or small); 4) the name, telephone number, and e-mail address of a technical point of contact having the authority and knowledge to clarify responses with Government representatives and 5) literature regarding the capability of your company to manufacture and supply these items. Responses to this Notice should be received no later than 12:00 P.M. Eastern Time November 21, 2016 and shall be submitted via e-mail to Andrew Martin, Contract Specialist at Andrew.Martin@bep.gov. This is a Sources Sought Notice. This RFI is for informational planning purposes only and it should not to be construed as a commitment by the Government for any actual procurement of materials, machinery, or services. This notice does not constitute a solicitation or a promise of a solicitation in the future. This RFI does not commit the Government to a contract for any supply or service. Respondents are advised that the Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this Sources Sought. All costs associated with responding to this Sources are solely at the responding parties' expense. Respondents are solely responsible for properly marking and clearly identifying any proprietary information or trade secrets contained within their response. The Government will not be liable for nor suffer any consequential damages resulting from any proprietary information not properly marked and clearly identified. Proprietary information received in response to this RFI will be safeguarded and handled in accordance with applicable Government regulations. Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract or agreement. The BEP will not be obligated to pursue any particular acquisition alternative as a result of this Sources Sought. Responses to the RFI will not be returned. Not responding to this Sources Sought does not preclude participation in any future solicitation, if one is issued.
