Presolicitation Synopsis KC 135 Test Fixtures 309th Maintenance Wing Commodities Maintenance Group (CMXG) NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE: This is a pre-solicitation synopsis in accordance with FAR 5.201. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) or an Invitation for Bid (IFB), nor is it to be construed as a commitment by the government. This synopsis is prepared in accordance with guidance found in FAR 5.207, and is prepared for the purpose of notifying potential offerors of an upcoming solicitation for The contractor shall provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, and labor necessary to build, test, and deliver KC-135/E3A Rudder Power Control Unit (PCU) Test Fixtures for Hill Air Force Base (HAFB) in accordance with the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS). The solicitation for this requirement will be posted under reference number FA8224-18-R-0011. It is the contractor's responsibility to monitor FedBizOpps on a regular basis for the solicitation along with any amendments. The Ogden Air Logistics Complex (OO-ALC), Specialized Contracting Office (PZIMB), intends to negotiate with Parker Hannifin-Corporation (Packer Aerospace), on a sole source basis under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source to provide KC-135/E3A Rudder Power Control Unit (PCU) Test Fixtures for Hill Air Force Base (HAFB) in accordance with the attached (PWS). Delivery is approximately 58 weeks after date of award as confirmed by Parker Hannifin. All specs shall be in accordance to attached purchase description.
