KCY Crew Base Annex Building Roof Replacement - Request for Letters of Interest - LOI X 103 26258

Amtrak is seeking Letters of Interest and Statements of Qualifications from qualified construction firms for the KCY Crew Base Annex Building Roof Replacement project located in Missouri. The scope of work involves the salvaging and reinstallation of existing roof edge trim or the installation of new trim and cap systems, including gravel stops and cleats, that comply with EP4000 standards. This initial phase is designed to shortlist contractors for a subsequent Invitation to Bid, and a mandatory in-person site visit will be scheduled once the official solicitation is launched. Interested firms must submit a response via email to Sourcing Specialist Kathleen Butler by September 23, 2026. Submissions are limited to ten one-sided typed pages on company letterhead and must include the firm's identity, a designated point of contact, project manager resumes demonstrating general construction management experience, and evidence of adequate resources and experience. Additionally, firms not currently registered as Amtrak suppliers must provide a copy of their V9 form. Selection for the shortlist will be determined at the sole discretion of Amtrak based on the provided qualifications.
