Full Description

This project is located at the Kernville Work Center, 11380 Kernville Road in Kernville, on the Kern River Ranger District of the Sequoia National Forest. Township 25S., Range 33E., Section 15. The project includes removal and disposal of the existing roofing material (Hot Map) and any fascia or deck boards to be replaced. Inspect and replace damaged excessively warped, delaminated, or rotted roof decking. Furnish and install new fascia boards, as required. Furnish and install builders felt or other approved roofing underlayment. Furnish and install roofing including all attachments, trim, and roof penetration boots/gaskets. The price range of this project is less than $100,000. The estimated contract time is 30 calendar days. Estimated start work date is September 2, 2008 (Project site is normally accessible year round, but is not guaranteed.) A pre-bid tour will not be conducted. Offerors are encouraged to visit the site on their own. Issue date is approximately May 30, 2008 with a closing date of approximately June 30, 2008. This acquisition is a total Set-Aside for Emerging Small Businesses.
