Keysafe Upgrade - Kent Institution This requirement is for: The Correctional Service of Canada, Kent Institution, 4732 Cemetery Road, Agassiz, British Columbia. Trade agreement: Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA), Canada–Chile Free Trade Agreement, Canada–Colombia Free Trade Agreement, Canada–Honduras Free Trade Agreement, Canada–Korea Free Trade Agreement, Canada–Panama Free Trade Agreement. Tendering procedures: The suppliers listed in this notice and qualified under the E60HN-200ACS/xxx/HN supply arrangement have been invited to submit a bid. Competitive Procurement Strategy: Lowest priced compliant bid Set-aside under the Procurement Strategy for Indigenous Business: This procurement is not subject to any set-asides for Indigenous Suppliers. Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: This procurement is not subject to a Comprehensive Land Claims Agreement. Security Requirements: This contract includes security requirements. Nature of Requirements: This RFP is only for pre-qualified Suppliers for Access Control Systems (Alarm, Signal and Security Detection Systems) E60HN-200ACS/xxx/HN. The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement. The Correctional Service Canada has a requirement to upgrade the site keysafes, and install one (1) new keysafe for the failed unit on site, and all of the associated elements identified in the RFP, at Kent Institution, 4732 Cemetery Road, Agassiz, British Columbia. Deliverables: Existing keypads across the site are failing and locking up. The Contractor must replace them all with the ‘BEAR Keypad Upgrade kit - Part Number 8190003A’. The current Global Facilities Management Software (GFMS) is outdated. The Contractor must update that software for full functionality. The Contractor must: 1. Supply, setup, program and commission Key Systems Inc (KSI) components 2. Provide: a) eight (8) Upgrade Kits for the existing Key Systems enclosures Part Number 8190003A b) one (1) Complete 64 Key Safe Enclosure to replace the existing enclosure Part Number K1C2828C064G c) eight (8) Yuasa Replacement batteries 12 Volts (V) 7 Amp Hour (AH) d) two (2) Sliding Latch Door Assembly (Part Number: 2690224B) e) five (5) Latch Bolt springs (Part Number: 98-0028) 7. Install new blue patch cables in all panels 8. Replace existing fuses in each cabinet with glow fuses three (3) 9. Replace patch cables in existing cabinets with new CAT6 cable (blue) with factory molded ends and test connection with site Information Management Services (IMS) team 10. Provide training to local maintenance contractor (ADGA) and site Security Maintenance Officer (SMO) 11. Work with site IMS Information Technology (IT) personnel to upgrade GFMS software to latest version Any conditions for participation of suppliers not specified in solicitation documentation: none.
