KYLE WWTP EXPANSION PHASE 2, FULL WORKS PACKAGE

The City of Kyle is experiencing rapid population growth, necessitating the expansion of its existing wastewater treatment facility to accommodate a future treatment capacity of 9.0 million gallons per day (MGD). The facility is currently undergoing construction of the Early Works Package (EWP), which will provide an additional 1.5 MGD of treatment capacity, increasing the plant's total capacity to 6.0 MGD. The subsequent Full Works Package (FWP) will further expand the facility to a final treatment capacity of 9.0 MGD, providing the infrastructure necessary to support the City's continued growth and long-term wastewater treatment needs. In addition to the work included in the FWP, the site will have additional construction activities performed by other contractors outside the FWP scope. Successful implementation of the overall program will therefore require careful coordination among multiple contractors, construction activities, schedules, site access requirements, and ongoing plant operations. Maintaining effective communication and coordination among all parties will be critical to minimizing conflicts, maintaining site safety, and ensuring that the various projects are successfully integrated into the existing and expanded treatment facility.
