The Department of Veterans Affairs VAMC in Walla Walla, Washington, awarded a contract for the procurement, installation, and training of a patient safe lifting system. The project includes Liko Overhead Patient Lift Systems for two rooms, including slings and accessories, as well as two Golvo 7007 Es Mobile Patient Lifts. This sole-source determination was made by Contracting Officer Charlene Duncan on September 18, 2009, in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b).
