L -- Misawa/Osan/Kunsan/Kadena Instrumentation Training System (MOKKITS) Operations and Sustainment

Excerpt from SOW: Contractor shall be completely responsible for total Misawa/Osan/Kunsan/Kadena Instrumentation Training System (MOKKITS) Operations and Sustainment (OS) performance, including all management, labor, equipment, (hardware and software), engineering, materials, tools, and supplies necessary to conduct OS of the MOKKITS. MOKKITS supports air combat training by aircraft assigned to Pacific Air Forces (PACAF), United States Air Force (USAF) aircraft within PACAF's area of operations, aircraft from other components of the armed forces of the United States, and Allied aircraft. Training may arise from unit or component training proficiency requirements. Training may arise in a single-service, joint, bilateral, or combined forces exercise. Training may be at the operating locations Misawa AB, Osan AB, Kunsan AB, and Kadena AB listed below or other locations with the United States Pacific Command's area of responsibility. A Draft Statement of Work (SOW) was posted on 30 July 03 and can be downloaded from the Electronic Posting System. A U.S. SECRET/NOFORN facility clearance will be required prior to award of any resulting contract. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 3663. The contract performance period is anticipated to run from 1 April 04 through 30 September 04, with nine option years. The solicitation is anticipated to be available on or about 21 Nov 03.
