Background Environment and climate Change Canada (ECCC)initiated a project to replace obsolete and aging radar systems along with their supporting infrastructure. The goal of this project was to replace all existing weather radar installations with new S-Band radars. Upon the project completion, in order to support the weather network, a new set of equipment which can be operated at the desired frequency range, are needed in order to fulfill OSE’s commitment to support the network. additional equipment capable of operating within the desired frequency range is required to fulfill OSE’s commitment to maintaining and supporting the weather radar network. Purpose The following statement of work describes requirements to procure lab equipment for the Operative System Engineering’s (OSE) to support radar operation. Objective The objective of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to procure a Network Analyzer, Oscilloscope, Signal Generator, and Power Sensor to enhance OSE’s capability in supporting their clients, including the operating weather radar network.
