This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT. The Army Contracting Command, Tenant Contracting Division, 6001 Combat Drive, Aberdeen Proving Ground intends to issue a sole source, Firm-Fixed Price contract, under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, 10USC 2304 ( c ) (1) to Darwin Chambers Company L.L.C., 2945 Washington Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63103. NAICS Code is 333415 and Business Size standards 1250. The contractor shall provide the following: Reach-In Stability Refrigerator, Item STO30-AA, Qty: 10 each The U.S. Army Public Health Command requires refrigerators that have the capacity to maintain >1 degrees C to >6 degrees C without high or low temperature excursions. Refrigerators is mission critical to the laboratory for PHC. Darwin Chamber series refrigerators are engineered to operate in accordance to specified requirement and units are also serviceable and are GMP/FDA/ICH compliant. Darwin Chamber is the manufacturer of the refrigerators, proprietary with no authorized resellers. (See detailed description - attached). Please see the attachment labeled, "justification" for further detail as to why this action is being negotiated solely with Darwin Chambers Company L.L.C., Cage Code: 33PX5 There are no solicitation documents; however, contractors interested in this requirement should submit a complete technical package, which provides clear and convincing evidence that they can meet the Government's requirement. Vendors who are not registered in System For Award Management (SAM) database prior to award will not be considered. Vendors may register with SAM by going on via web to https://www.sam.gov. Responses must be received no later than 11:00 a.m., Eastern Daylight Time, 26 July 2017. Responses should be submitted electronically to contact@example.gov This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, the government will consider all responses received by the response date stated above. A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
