Synopsis Notice for Non-Commercial Item(s) This requirement is for non-commercial items. The contractor shall provide the following item: CLIN(s) 0001 - 0008: Lamp Filter (NVIS GREEN A // POLISHED BOTH SIDES // RING FILTER // ALUMINUM CAPPED 0.140" IN HEIGHT / 0.250" IN DIAMETER Manufactured by: Pynco, Inc. Part number: RF-GAM-P-140-250-AL Total Quantity: 4500 Provide technical data. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. The resulting contract will be Firm Fixed Price. This announcement constitutes the synopsis only; a quotation is requested and a written solicitation will be issued. The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) FA8571-15-T-0002. Solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-76, effective 25 Aug 2014, NAICS is 336413 and small business size is 1000 employees. Place of performance/FOB Robins AFB Georgia. The approximate RFQ issue date will be 16 Oct 2014. Quotation is due 23 Oct 2014. This requirement is sole source to Pynco Inc., CAGE CODE: 0ZX08 in accordance with 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Or A Limited Number of Responsible Sources, And No Other Supplies Or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government that this requirement will not be competed based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Foreign participation is not permitted. All potential offerors should contact the buyer/PCO identified below for additional information and or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition.
