Full Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: The 673d Contracting Squadron, Elmendorf AFB, AK intends to award a sole source purchase order to Nakuuruq Solutions, LLC, Anchorage, Alaska 99503 for the 673d Security Forces Squadron Land Mobile Radio (LMR). This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 6.302-5(b)(4). The anticipated award date no later than 30 September 2010. This is an unfunded requirement contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds IAW 52.232-18, Availability of Funds clause. Pursuant to Contract Clause FAR 52.232-18, "Availability of Funds", the government obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the government for any payment shall arise until funds are made available for this contract and until the contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer. An executed SF 1449 will provide notification of availability of funds. This notice is neither a request for competition proposals nor a solicitation of offers. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The closing date for this Synopsis is 17 September 2010 at 3:00 PM Alaska Daylight Time.
