Full Description
The U.S. Marshals Service (USMS), Justice Prisoner and Alien Transportation System (JPATS) intends to negotiate and award under the authority of RFO Part 6 to Lafayette Airport Commission, 200 Terminal Dr. | Suite 200, Lafayette, LA 70508-2159 for three (3) JPATS owned Boeing B737 series aircraft. Based on market research conducted and contacts made with knowledgeable individuals within the Government and related industry, it has been determined that this requirement can only be met through Lafayette Airport Commission. Lafayette Airport Commission is the only source reasonably available and has the unique capabilities that satisfy the agency. The period of performance will be from October 1, 2026 – September 30, 2027. This requirement will be solicited in accordance with the authority of RFO Part 6.103-1(b).
The intent of this notice is for informational purposes only. This Notice of Intent is neither a formal solicitation nor a request for competitive proposals. No award will be made on the basis of unsolicited quotations or offers received in response to this notice. However, any information received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. Information in response to this notice must be addressed in writing via e-mail to Victor J. Stamps, Contracting Officer, at Victor.J.Stamps@usdoj.gov. no later than 11:00 pm CST on September 18, 2026. No phone calls regarding questions will be accepted and will not receive a response. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice.
