Large Format Printer or Equal

This is a Sources Sought Notice for information and acquisition planning purposes. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government to issue an RFQ, RFP, contract or order. The Government will not pay for any effort expended or any material provided in response to this announcement nor will the Government return any data provided. The Natural Resources Conservation Service is seeking vendors that can provide an Oce' ColorWave 650 Large Format Printer or equal. The NRCS is contemplating award of one firm fixed price contract for the machine specified. Interested vendors should submit equipment that meet or exceed the below capabilities. The capabilities of the equipment shall include: 1. The proposed printer must be capable of integrating with the Oce TC4 Large Format Scanner. 2. Print output is instantly dry and waterproof. 3. Capable of plotting CAD and GIS lines precisely with a scan accuracy of 0.1% +/- 1 pixel. 4. Resolution of 600 dpi or better 5. Printer output speed B/W: 225 A1/hr, 128 A0/hr; Color: 210 A1/hr, 120 A0/hr 6. House multiple paper rolls internally. 7. Utilize dry ink toner pearls with 500 grams per color or better 8. Print output of 42 inches to 60 inches. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. The Government does not commit to providing a response to any comment or question. No basis for a claim against the Government shall arise as a result of this announcement. Responses should be received no later than July 25, 2014.
