Large Parts Washer

The Greater Dayton Regional Transit Authority (RTA) is soliciting bids under solicitation number GD 26-50R for the purchase, delivery, installation, commissioning, and training associated with one large industrial parts washer for its Maintenance Facility in Dayton, Ohio. The Better Engineering Products Purifier Model RD-4000 is the basis of design, though approved equals that meet or exceed specifications will be considered. The required unit must be self-contained regarding wastewater, configured for 460/480 VAC three-phase power, and provided as a new, unused system. The scope of work includes final electrical, water, and compressed air connections, as well as the provision of initial cleaning chemicals; however, the removal and disposal of the existing unit are excluded from the contractor's responsibilities. Bids must be submitted electronically via OpenGov by 11:00 am Eastern Time on October 29, 2026. Award will be granted to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder based on price, experience, financial responsibility, and equal opportunity records. Required submission documents include a Personal Property Tax Affidavit, Lobbying Certification, Tax Liability Certification, a SAM.gov exclusion screenshot, and a Certificate of Good Standing for the State of Ohio. The contract is subject to Federal Transit Administration (FTA) requirements, including Fly America and debarment regulations, and requires compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Successful contractors must maintain specific insurance coverages, including Commercial General Liability of $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate, along with Workers Compensation and Employer's Liability including Ohio Stop Gap coverage. Payment terms are net 30 days following RTA approval of proper invoices.
