Full Description

The purpose of this contracting action is to announce the Government's intention to pursue a sole source contract extension under current contract W58RGZ-13-D-0147, to bilaterally add five (5) years to the ordering period in support of the Program Management Office -Aircraft Survivability Equipment (PMO ASE) Laser Detecting Sets (LDS), Army/Navy Piloted Aircraft/Visual and Visible Light/Receiving, Passive Detecting (AN/AVR-2B), (AVR-2B) B-Kits, associated parts and services. The resultant contract extension will be awarded under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a) (2), "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements". A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP), nor is it to be construed as a commitment by the Government to release a competitive solicitation or award a contract.
