DLA-Aviation is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support this requirement: NSN 5860-01-618-0130, LASER, SOLID STATE. The current approved source of supply is: L3 TECHNOLOGIES, INC.; CAGE 0B107; P/N MPM-906-A2 The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. Other interested parties may identify their interest and capability by response no later than 8/29/22 to Earl Burnette at earl.burnette@dla.mil. DLA does not have a bid set for this NSN. If your company desires to be reviewed and qualified as an "Approved Source" for this NSN, you will be required to submit an application package through the Source Approval Request (SAR) Program. A SAR package contains all of the technical data needed to demonstrate that the prospective contractor can competently manufacture the product to the same level of quality, or better, than the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM).
