September 13, 2017 The Federal Bureau of Prisons Metropolitan Detention Center Guaynabo, Puerto Rico, intends to issue solicitation RFQP03061700031 for the procurement of its Replacement Laundry Equipment for the FY-2017. The NAICS code for this requirement is 333318. Deliveries will be made 90 days after purchase. The contract Type is a Firm-Fixed Price contract. This acquisition is unrestricted set aside as to business size. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 4.1102 Policy requires all contractors seeking or currently doing business with the government to be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award; information can be obtained at https://www.sam.gov/. The Government reserves the right to award item by item, or in groups of items, or in aggregate, whichever is most advantageous to the Government by responsive, responsible offeror(s) whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, with past performance and price considered, prices being rated higher than past performance.
