The 55th Contracting Squadron at Offutt Air Force Base intends to award a contract modification to LinQuest Corporation for the Joint Navigation Warfare Center III contract, FA4600-18-D-0001. This action, executed under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1 as a sole source procurement, will increase the contract ceiling by 67.1 million dollars, raising the total from 99.2 million dollars to 166.3 million dollars. The modification is designed to ensure uninterrupted continuity of critical services, including engineering, security, IT, intelligence analysis, and modeling and simulation, until a competitive contract can be awarded. The period of performance for this effort expires on September 18, 2023, and falls under NAICS code 541715 for research and development in physical, engineering, and life sciences. Separately, records indicate a prior procurement action, FA4600-16-R-0001, which was a small business set-aside for the lease of three vehicles, specifically two large and one small SUV, to support operations at Offutt AFB and the Washington D.C. area. This vehicle lease agreement utilized a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable evaluation method and covered a base year with two option years and a six-month extension. While both actions involve the 55th Contracting Squadron, the primary current intent is the significant funding increase for the Joint Navigation Warfare Center III support services.
